Head of Innovation

About the role

The Head of Innovation will lead the bank’s innovation agenda, defining and executing a comprehensive strategy that positions the institution as a market leader in financial services. This senior role combines strategic vision with hands‑on oversight of enterprise architecture to ensure technology aligns with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine a bank‑wide innovation strategy aligned with corporate vision and growth targets.
• Establish a multi‑year innovation roadmap covering product, digital transformation and operational enhancements.
• Identify, prioritize and manage a structured pipeline of high‑impact innovation opportunities.
• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles and target state, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Drive modernization initiatives such as cloud adoption, API strategy, micro‑services and data platforms.
• Design and execute a fintech partnership and ecosystem strategy, including open banking and platform initiatives.
• Monitor global fintech trends and integrate best‑in‑class external capabilities.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans for the Innovation Department.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in innovation, digital transformation or enterprise architecture within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of fintech ecosystems, open banking and partnership models.
• Ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
