Head of Civil Engineering

About the role

Egis is seeking a Head of Civil Engineering to lead the maintenance of airport civil infrastructure. The role ensures compliance, availability, and optimal operation of pavements, airside and landside facilities, and related systems.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the maintenance procedures policy defined by the Technical Director.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for aeronautical pavements, airside infrastructure, buildings, and landside roads.
• Oversee maintenance activities performed by assistant engineers, civil technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring timely execution according to manuals and regulations.
• Fully implement maintenance plans and reporting through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Analyze maintenance reports, raise requests, and trigger corrective actions or escalations as needed.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and ensure compliance with functional and regulatory standards.
• Provide consistent activity reporting and escalate major technical issues that could affect air‑side operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing civil infrastructure maintenance, preferably in an airport environment.
• Ability to lead teams of engineers, technicians, and external contractors.
• Strong understanding of regulatory maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Required skills

• CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) proficiency
