H3SE Supervisor – Oil & Gas Site

About the role

The H3SE Supervisor will be based on‑site at PS5/6, supporting safe operations for a major pipeline and export infrastructure operator in the oil and gas sector. The role ensures compliance with health, safety, security and environmental (H3SE) management systems, oversees emergency preparedness, and drives continuous improvement of safety performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support site safety, health and environmental protection activities in coordination with stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with company H3SE procedures and policies.
• Act as Safety Authority for work permits, preparing and executing permits‑to‑work.
• Deliver safety training for site and contractor personnel.
• Review and improve the Site Emergency Response Plan and conduct emergency drills.
• Coordinate H3SE KPI reporting and incident/event documentation.
• Ensure risk assessments are completed before hazardous activities and lead Job Risk Assessments with contractors.
• Implement corrective actions from audits, inspections and site tours; stop unsafe operations when identified.
• Maintain life‑saving equipment, oversee inspections and ensure functionality.
• Assist with incident and accident investigations and follow up on recommendations.
• Prepare and lead regular H3SE meetings and produce daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance scheduling of safety equipment and draft site H3SE procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma in Engineering, Sciences or equivalent.
• HSE certification such as NEBOSH, OSHA or IOSH.
• At least 10 years of operational experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• Previous roles as HSE Engineer, Supervisor or Officer.
• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems in an industrial setting.
