Guest Relations Specialist

About the role

MSG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Guest Relations Specialist to join its Zanzibar City property. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering warm, responsive, and professional service to every guest, ensuring memorable stays and repeat business.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests upon arrival, managing smooth check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues courteously.
• Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and excursions teams to guarantee seamless experiences.
• Promote hotel services and local excursions, providing accurate information and recommendations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date guest records in line with company standards.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in Guest Relations or front‑office roles, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or resort.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities, with active listening and friendly interaction.
• Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages (Italian, Russian, French or others) are a plus.
• Motivated, hands‑on attitude with the ability to manage floor operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in guest‑service software and reservation systems (if mentioned by employer).
