Finance Manager – Manufacturing (West Africa)

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations for its overseas ceramics manufacturing plant in West Africa. You will be responsible for ensuring sound financial governance, supporting strategic decisions, and driving the performance of the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑cycle financial management including accounting, cost control, budgeting, reporting, analysis and tax compliance.
• Support senior leadership by monitoring business processes, internal controls and financial governance.
• Provide financial input on major commercial agreements, contracts and investment decisions.
• Contribute to annual business planning and deliver financial insights for operational and strategic goals.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts and performance analyses to management.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to improve efficiency and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven expertise in cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
• Experience managing tax matters and supporting international operations.
• Fluent English; French proficiency strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to relocate and work on‑site in Africa.
