Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will be based in Dar es Salaam and will lead the group’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to senior leadership and supports the company’s growth across Sub‑Sahara Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring for the entire group.
• Prepare, review and ensure accuracy of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian regulations and internal policies, and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Manage accounting operations and supervise the finance team.
• Analyse financial data to support management decisions and drive profitability.
• Partner with other departments to develop financial controls, optimise resource allocation and support strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in financial analysis, variance analysis and performance monitoring.
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate finance teams while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA, ACCA or CFA is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of regional languages is advantageous.

• Familiarity with accounting or ERP software systems.
