Finance Manager / Controller (CA/CMA) – Dar es Salaam

About the role

We are seeking two qualified CA/CMA professionals to lead our Finance & Accounts function in Dar es Salaam. The role combines financial reporting, operational finance, business analysis and team leadership within an agro‑commodities trading and logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Finalize accounts and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Manage banking operations, cash flow, treasury and foreign‑currency transactions.
• Oversee export‑import accounting, documentation and customs‑clearance financial processes.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, compliance and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Conduct costing, profitability analysis and support commercial and operations teams.
• Identify financial risks, leakages and control gaps.
• Lead, train and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
• Establish robust processes, checks and balances across the organization.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Management Accountant (CMA).
• Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification experience in finance/accounting.
• Experience in trading, export‑import, logistics, clearing & forwarding is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to understand end‑to‑end business operations and provide actionable financial insights.
