Finance Intern – Mwanza, Tanzania

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Finance Intern to join our Finance team in Mwanza, Tanzania. The internship provides hands‑on experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and finance administration while working alongside seasoned professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Support bank reconciliations and contribute to financial reporting activities.
• Maintain finance documentation and filing systems.
• Help with budgeting, audit preparation and other finance‑related tasks.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance team.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
