Facilities Management Officer

About the role

The Facilities Management Officer ensures that the office environment is clean, safe, and well‑maintained, supporting the mission of providing care for vulnerable children. This role coordinates cleaning services, vendor contracts, utilities, and the flow of goods and correspondence within the office.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order of internal and external office premises, supervising cleaning providers and overseeing gardens, parking areas, and walkways.
• Act as the main contact for facility‑related vendors, monitor performance, and manage contract renewals and evaluations.
• Monitor and manage utility services—including electricity, water, and generator operations—ensuring continuous availability and minimal disruptions.
• Receive, inspect, record, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
• Handle incoming and outgoing letters and parcels, maintaining a proper registry and ensuring safe filing and archiving.
• Provide a point of contact for facility queries, coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.
