Executive – Sales & Marketing

About the role

LTL Transformers Tanzania, part of a leading international engineering group, is expanding in Tanzania and the wider African market. We are seeking a commercially driven and technically capable Executive – Sales & Marketing to strengthen customer relationships, develop new business opportunities and support market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by achieving targets, building a strong pipeline and converting opportunities into business.
• Develop new markets and customers across Tanzania and selected African markets, including utilities, consultants, contractors and industrial clients.
• Promote technical solutions such as transformers, substations and related electrical engineering products through effective presentations, proposals and customer engagement.
• Lead tender and business‑development activities, including opportunity identification, commercial coordination and support for channel partners.
• Strengthen market presence through customer visits, industry events, competitor intelligence and strategic relationship development.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Tanzanian institution (e.g., DIT, ATC, MUST, NIT) or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience within transformers, electrical equipment, engineering products or a related industrial sector.
• Professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Project Management is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and willingness to travel extensively within Tanzania and other African countries.
• Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
