About the role

Ndifo Community Development Foundation is seeking an Executive Director to guide its programmes in education, clean water, sanitation, health and food security across underserved communities in Arusha. This part‑time position will evolve into a full‑time role as the organisation expands.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and day‑to‑day leadership for all Tanzania programmes, in partnership with the Board of Directors and local accountants.
• Oversee school‑based initiatives, including teacher support, student wellbeing and inclusive education.
• Develop and manage the foundation’s social media presence to showcase impact and engage stakeholders.
• Represent Ndifo with integrity to schools, local government, families and donors, ensuring cultural respect.

• Highly organized, accountable and comfortable working both in an office and in the field.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with a hopeful, practical approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using social media platforms for communication and storytelling.
