Depot Clerk

About the role

DHL Supply Chain is looking for a Depot Clerk to join its warehouse team. You will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that inventory records are up‑to‑date and that safety and quality standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and put away stock from the main warehouse, other depots, or clients according to documented procedures.
• Prepare and execute timely dispatches, following formal processes to meet site objectives.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, post transactions correctly, and complete stock count reconciliations within set timelines.
• Observe and enforce safe working practices, housekeeping, and site safety rules.
• Guide casual staff, ensuring they follow safety policies and operational standards.
• Perform FIFO labeling, arrange items in marked areas, and keep the warehouse tidy.
• Report any issues, equipment repairs, or cleaning needs to the supervisor.

• Capability to guide and supervise casual workers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SAGE inventory management system.
