Demand Planner

About the role

The Demand Planner will own SAP APO statistical forecasting and ensure data integrity for East African Breweries PLC. This role supports the monthly S&OP process, drives forecast accuracy, and collaborates closely with business partners to produce a robust baseline forecast.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and maintain an 18‑month rolling statistical demand forecast using SAP APO.
• Collaborate with the Demand Manager and DP Business Partner to adjust history and highlight deviations.
• Maintain APO master data, including CVC creation, disaggregation factors and attributes.
• Analyse outliers, correct data, and support scenario planning for promotions, innovations and major events.
• Provide reports and insights to stakeholders and feed key inputs into the S&OP/IBP process.
• Participate in S&OP meetings to achieve consensus forecasts and challenge strategic planning assumptions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis with demand business partners to continuously improve forecast accuracy and bias.
