Data Entry Operator

About the role

A client of Shugulika Africa Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Operator in Dar es Salaam. The role involves accurately inputting, updating and maintaining data in databases and systems, working both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Load sheets and generate settlement reports
• Reconcile Z reports with settlements
• Enter vouchers and check all spending in settlements against supporting vouchers
• Escalate variances on settlement related to stock or cash
• Ensure any variance is approved by the BAAM before closing a settlement
• Perform other related tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Maximum of a degree, minimum of 0-level education
• At least 2 years of experience in data entry or data management
• Proven experience as a data entry operator or office clerk
• Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time management
• Good written and verbal communication; able to work independently and in a team
