Construction Estimator

About the role

Utopia is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join its real‑estate development and construction team, focusing on boutique hospitality assets. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, managing budgets, and supporting procurement and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct analysis to estimate materials, machinery, equipment and labour costs for construction projects.
• Develop bills of quantities for construction activities.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates (AACE Class 3 and 2) and contribute to early‑stage estimates (AACE Class 5 and 4).
• Manage project budgets and track cost performance.
• Support procurement processes, tender documentation and contract administration.
• Produce regular cost reports and updates for the Project Manager and design team.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results on schedule.
• Strong analytical, presentation and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Full‑time availability (up to 40 hours per week) in a remote setting.
• No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance provided.
