Compliance Executive

About the role

The Compliance Executive supports TEMTL’s compliance framework across Tanzania, ensuring that all business activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies. This role works closely with management, staff, and external partners to promote a culture of ethical conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct due‑diligence searches, follow up questionnaires and support business contacts and third parties throughout the process.
• Coordinate the “Tone at the Top” program and maintain an effective compliance communication strategy.
• Assist the Compliance Officer in organizing quarterly compliance training for staff and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with all departments to align policies with Group directives and with HR to ensure mandatory e‑learning participation.
• Promote the compliance program to service‑station staff, dealers, vendors, and transporters, delivering appropriate training sessions.
• Monitor and record customer complaints related to ethics and compliance, and prepare regular compliance reports, including an annual report.
• Create purchase orders, generate goods receipts, maintain filing systems, and manage document distribution.
• Handle invoice records, provide stationery to finance units, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Business degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Professional, diplomatic communication style with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Self‑starter, detail‑oriented and highly organized.
• Strong report‑writing and presentation abilities.
• Action‑oriented mindset.
