Civil Engineer – Infrastructure Project Management

About the role

The Civil Engineer will lead the planning, coordination and execution of civil, infrastructure and construction projects. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures that works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction schedules and production plans for infrastructure projects.
• Allocate manpower, materials and machinery efficiently and coordinate on‑site construction activities.
• Implement national engineering standards and the company’s quality and safety management system, conducting inspections and safety patrols.
• Control project costs, optimise construction methods and manage material receipt, usage and consumption.
• Oversee on‑site environmental and civilised construction practices and resolve unforeseen issues.
• Manage, train and assess the construction team, fostering professional development and teamwork.
• Liaise with designers, supervisors, owners, contractors and government authorities to keep projects progressing smoothly.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or related field.
• Level 2 or higher Construction Engineer certification (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure project production management, preferably on large‑scale industrial or municipal projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality standards and safety regulations.
