Chief Information Officer (CIO) – Airport IT Leadership

About the role

The Chief Information Officer will define and drive the airport’s information system strategy, digital transformation agenda, and cybersecurity governance. This senior leader ensures secure, robust, integrated, and future‑ready IT services that support operational excellence and business growth while maintaining 24/7 continuity for all airport systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the airport’s IT strategy and digital transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, standards, and enterprise architecture across all systems.
• Lead cybersecurity strategy, risk posture, compliance with aviation regulations and data protection standards, and manage security incidents.
• Oversee technology investment planning, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and ROI.
• Ensure integration and interoperability of critical airport systems such as AODB, CUPPS, FIDS, ERP, CMMS, and security platforms.
• Develop data governance frameworks and promote data‑driven decision‑making.
• Define the IT service organization, set objectives, optimise processes, and coach a multidisciplinary IT team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT team management and multidisciplinary team development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead medium‑ and long‑term IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong background in IT governance, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity oversight.
• Experience with technology investment planning and prioritisation.
• Expertise in enterprise systems integration for airport environments.
• Capability to establish data governance and enhance digital capabilities.
