Business Development Manager – Tanzania

About the role

Join Mamoru, a fintech company reshaping financial services, as a Business Development Manager for Tanzania. You will lead the establishment of local operations and drive growth in the FX trading market.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the local entity, FX broker accounts, exchange accounts, and onboarding payment processors.
• Collaborate with the global operations team to ensure smooth local operations.
• Represent Mamoru locally, building relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges, merchants, and payment processors.
• Develop the FX trading business targeting high‑net‑worth, institutional, merchant, and individual traders.
• Monitor market trends, opportunities, risks, and new projects within the FX payments industry.
• Serve as nominee director of the local entity.
• Handle administrative tasks for the local company.

Required profile

• Prior experience in banking or FX with solid understanding of trading products and trade life cycles.
• Must be a Tanzanian national.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship‑management, and organizational abilities.
• Flexible mindset to adapt to a fast‑changing market and new tasks.
• Detail‑oriented, capable of multitasking and managing projects independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
