Business Development Manager – Interior Design Studio

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to grow the pipeline of interior design commissions for a leading creative studio. The role focuses on identifying high‑value projects, building relationships with decision‑makers, and converting opportunities into signed contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Research and target upcoming interior design projects across corporate, hospitality, commercial and institutional sectors.
• Map and engage the key stakeholders who control budgets and appointments, including developers, property owners and procurement teams.
• Develop and nurture relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners before formal tenders are issued.
• Qualify opportunities against firm expertise, client creditworthiness, fee potential and competitive landscape.
• Lead the proposal process, negotiate fees, address objections and secure signed commissions.
• Maintain a detailed pipeline with accurate data on prospects, stages, values, probabilities and required support.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven track record of verifiable sales achievements in the construction or interior design sector (e.g., 100 M–1 B+ in revenue).
