Business Analyst Internship – Dar es Salaam

About the role

Ubuntu Impact is looking for a Business Analyst Intern to join its financial services team in Dar es Salaam. The intern will support data‑driven decision making, help improve sales productivity and assist in operational profitability analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and report sales and operational data to identify trends and improve productivity.
• Define and monitor KPIs, evaluate performance against targets and create visual presentations for management.
• Analyse business operations to assess profitability and work with operations and finance teams on improvement initiatives.
• Prepare sales forecasts, assist in rolling budget development and calculate sales commissions.
• Audit sales processes for compliance, conduct data mining and propose solutions to enhance overall performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a comparable role.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with excellent documentation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate on solutions and lead high‑performing teams.
