Building & Utilities Manager

About the role

The Building & Utilities Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance and efficient operation of plant buildings, utilities, and workshops. This role ensures that all facilities run reliably, supports production teams with technical expertise, and drives continuous improvement in energy use and environmental impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Services team, providing coaching and ensuring succession planning.
• Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, spare‑parts management and execution of maintenance programmes for buildings and utilities.
• Monitor production equipment performance, identify improvement opportunities and support project teams.
• Promote compliance with the Quality Management System and Contamination Prevention program.
• Drive plant‑wide energy‑saving initiatives and minimize environmental impacts.
• Manage contracts, contractors and manpower related to buildings and utilities, and define training needs.
• Ensure workshop operations deliver repair and manufacturing services with optimal quality, speed and cost.
• Maintain a safe workplace by implementing appropriate control measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in field maintenance, workshop operations, spare‑parts management or related utilities.
• Proficiency in English and solid computer skills.
