Brewing Technical Expert

About the role

The purpose of this role is to drive continuous and sustainable improvements in product quality across the brewing value chain. You will optimise manufacturing processes, implement VPO practices and ensure adherence to AB InBev technical standards. The position supports innovation, process improvement and operational excellence while meeting production and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Global Technical Standards, Brewing Technical Manuals and Process Technical Standards.
• Conduct process, quality and work‑practice audits in line with AB InBev standards.
• Drive VPO implementation and continuous‑improvement initiatives across the brewing process.
• Monitor process performance and provide regular feedback to Brewing Managers and Zone Brewing Coordinators.
• Apply structured problem‑solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support process optimisation, CAPIN, Value Analysis (VA), project implementation and production trials.
• Collaborate with operational teams to resolve process and quality‑related issues.
• Manage fixed and variable costs while minimising losses and waste.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Biological Sciences, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a brewing, manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience as a Brewing Area Manager or Brewing Trainee is advantageous.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
