Bid Manager – Security Services (Pan‑Africa)

About the role

The Bid Manager will own the end‑to‑end bid lifecycle for GardaWorld’s security services across assigned African markets. Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Commercial Support Team, the role combines strategic capture work, win‑strategy development, and hands‑on proposal leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead early‑stage capture activities for medium to high‑value pursuits, including stakeholder mapping, customer intelligence gathering and competitor analysis.
• Apply a data‑driven bid/no‑bid qualification framework assessing strategic fit, profitability, operational capacity and risk.
• Define and guide win strategies, coordinate technical and commercial inputs, and ensure compliance and quality of all submissions.
• Manage post‑submission reviews, capture lessons learned and support operational handover.
• Engage country leadership, executive sponsors and subject‑matter experts to shape pursuit strategies and improve win probability.
• Leverage market intelligence, bid analytics and competitor insights to continuously improve proposal quality and bid function maturity.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex bids or proposals in security services or related sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to assess opportunities against strategic and financial criteria.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leadership across multiple countries.
• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating cross‑functional teams.
