Audit Trainee (FY26) – Assurance – Dar es Salaam

About the role

The Assurance Service Line at EY Tanzania offers a structured internship for fresh graduates to develop professional services experience. As an Audit Trainee (FY26) you will be based in Dar es Salaam and work on real audit engagements, supporting senior staff in delivering high‑quality assurance services to clients across various industries. The programme provides hands‑on exposure to audit methodology, financial statement analysis, and regulatory compliance, preparing participants for a future career in public accounting.

Required profile

• Eligible fields: Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, IT, Actuarial Science, STEM, Law or related disciplines from recognized universities or institutes.
• Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of ≥ 3.8.
• Minimum Division Two in both O’ Level and A’ Level, with credits in Mathematics and English.
• CPA or ACCA qualification (or progress towards it) is an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English, critical thinking, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
