Audit Trainee FY26 – Assurance – Dar es Salaam

About the role

EY Tanzania is offering an Audit Trainee FY26 position within its Assurance Service Line, located in Dar es Salaam. The programme is designed for fresh graduates of 2025 or 2026 and provides a structured internship that gives hands‑on experience in audit and assurance engagements.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, IT, Actuarial Science, STEM, Law or related fields from a recognised university (including Tanzanians who studied abroad).
• Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.8.
• Secondary education with minimum Division Two in both O’ Level and A’ Level, including credits in Mathematics and English.
• CPA or ACCA qualification (or progress towards it) is considered an advantage.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong critical‑thinking, analytical, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
