Aluminium Windows and Doors Expert

About the role

The Aluminium Windows and Doors Expert will work full‑time on site in Dar es Salaam, delivering high‑quality aluminium window, door, glass and balustrade installations for residential and commercial projects. You will translate technical drawings into precise measurements, fabricate components, and ensure flawless installation from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, fabricate, assemble and install aluminium windows, doors, glass and balustrade systems.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and measurements with high accuracy.
• Select appropriate materials, fittings and hardware for each project.
• Ensure correct alignment, sealing, finishing and overall quality of installations.
• Inspect completed work for safety, compliance with company standards and local regulations.
• Troubleshoot installation issues on site and perform adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, construction teams and clients to plan schedules and resolve challenges.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to PPE and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aluminium window and door fabrication, installation or a related construction trade.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, measurements and specifications.
• Knowledge of integrating aluminium systems with masonry, steel and glazing structures.
• Understanding of various window and door operating systems (sliding, hinged, tilt‑and‑turn, etc.).
• Commitment to safety practices and compliance with local building regulations.
• Good communication, teamwork and independent time‑management skills.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, work at heights and operate power tools safely.
