Airfreight Manager (M/F)

About the role

The Airfreight Manager will lead the airfreight office of Africa Global Logistics Tanzania, overseeing import operations, client relations and financial performance. This senior role ensures compliance with Tanzanian regulations and delivers high‑quality service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall administration of the airfreight office.
• Supervise and develop airfreight staff.
• Manage airfreight import operations and coordinate with clearing agencies, TRA and other government authorities.
• Maintain client relationships and handle official correspondence.
• Oversee the department’s financial management and budgeting.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Finance, Business Management or a related field.
• Professional training in clearing and forwarding.
• Minimum ten years of experience in the clearing & forwarding industry, with at least five years in a managerial position.
