Administration and Procurement Officer

About the role

The Administration and Procurement Officer supports World Vision’s mission by managing procurement activities and overseeing fleet and occupational safety operations. This role ensures compliance with VFT regulations, delivers value for money, and maintains safe transportation assets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate supplier negotiations and act as secretary for the procurement committee.
• Develop and issue requests for proposals, and manage the purchase request process within agreed timelines.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure compliance with VFT procurement rules.
• Prepare annual procurement plans, reports, and tracking tools for senior management.
• Identify and escalate fraud red flags promptly.
• Manage fleet compliance, driver licensing, vehicle inspections, and fuel/repair tracking.
• Supervise filing of fleet documents and generate reports on vehicle usage and costs.
• Oversee OSHA compliance, staff safety, first‑aid certification, and coordination with the OSHA head office.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating procurement committees and managing supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of VFT procurement rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with fleet management processes and safety compliance.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and analysis for senior management.
