Accountant – Automotive Sector

About the role

ITM Tanzania Limited is seeking a full‑time Accountant for its automotive operations in Bagamoyo. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and preparing reports to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts.
• Record and file all financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
• Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
• Track receivables and ensure timely collections.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Manage funds and identify process improvements to strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA or ACCA certification preferred (or in progress).
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Tally or ERP systems.
