Warehouse Assistant – Spare Parts

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant will manage the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of spare‑parts and materials in a busy warehouse environment. The role ensures accurate inventory records, supports service technicians and customers, and collaborates with procurement, service and sales teams to maintain parts availability.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming spare parts and materials, verifying quantities against delivery documents.
• Arrange, label, and store stock safely and efficiently.
• Issue spare parts to service technicians and customers based on approved requests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records and documentation.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Service, and Sales departments to ensure parts availability.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Prepare periodic stock and warehouse reports.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, spare‑parts management or inventory control.
• Experience handling heavy‑machinery spare parts is a plus.
• Forklift operation experience with a valid certificate/license is preferred.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
• Ability to maintain accurate stock records and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with warehouse/inventory management systems.
• Forklift operation (certificate preferred).
