Sales Coordinator – Pensioner Portfolio

About the role

The Pensioner Portfolio Sales Coordinator drives acquisition, activation and servicing of pensioner customers for NBC across assigned regions. The role involves regular visits to pension fund offices, government and employer locations to convert prospective retirees into bank clients and to support frontline teams during onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pensioner acquisition activities with branches, DSAs, LG teams and pension fund offices, ensuring targets are met.
• Prepare lead lists, monitor onboarding queues and track account activation status, resolving documentation gaps.
• Maintain acquisition dashboards, trackers and performance reports, escalating issues as needed.
• Organise and support pension‑related initiatives such as clinics and activation campaigns, handling logistics and materials.
• Manage customer and branch escalations by liaising with Operations, Digital channels and other relevant teams.
• Track dormant pensioner accounts and coordinate re‑activation interventions with sales teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, customer service or field operations.
• Experience with pension funds, public institutions or senior‑citizen engagement is an advantage.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder‑coordination abilities.
