Public Sector Manager

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Public Sector Manager to lead the implementation and administration of public and government sales policies. You will work closely with account managers and key government stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end solutions that meet the needs of central government, agencies and ministries.

Key responsibilities

• Enable and support Public Sector Account Managers to achieve revenue targets and become the government partner of choice.
• Develop and execute the public sector sales strategy across central government, agencies and ministries.
• Identify new project opportunities while managing existing government accounts to increase share of wallet.
• Provide end‑to‑end tender and proposal support, including preparation and submission.
• Serve as the central point of contact for key government stakeholders, strengthening internal and external relationships.
• Propose comprehensive, end‑to‑end solutions to address complex public sector challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in sales or relationship management within the public/government sector, preferably in telecom.
• Proven ability to navigate public sector purchasing processes and tenders.
• Strong relationship‑building, results‑driven and communication skills.
• Business acumen and experience in solution selling.
