Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to join its leadership team. In this role you will help steer the Food & Beverage division to deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient operation of all Food & Beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets and in‑room dining.
• Ensure alignment with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies, brand standards and local guest expectations.
• Drive profitability and cost control across the division.
• Maintain the highest levels of service excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other department heads to support overall hotel performance.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior Food & Beverage management role within an international hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Proven track record of achieving operational and financial objectives.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Deep knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and guest service standards.
• Computer literacy and solid administrative abilities.
