Supply Chain Intern

About the role

Jaza Energy Inc is looking for a motivated Supply Chain Intern to support day‑to‑day supply chain and operational activities in Tanzania. The role offers hands‑on experience in inventory control, procurement, logistics and data reporting within a fast‑growing organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring inventory movements, stock reconciliations and maintaining accurate records across warehouses and hubs.
• Update and validate supply chain trackers, generate routine inventory, procurement and logistics reports.
• Support purchase order tracking, follow‑up with suppliers and ensure proper documentation of deliveries.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate deliveries between warehouses and suppliers, and monitor service levels.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive learner with a commitment to operational excellence.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Basic knowledge of procurement systems
