Senior Transactional Banking Sales Manager

About the role

The Senior Transactional Banking Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by selling cash‑management solutions to corporate clients across Tanzania. The role focuses on winning new mandates, expanding existing relationships and protecting current business streams while building long‑term partnerships together with the coverage team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and sustain relationships with key decision‑makers in targeted corporate portfolios, including global corporates, large local corporates, development organisations and the public sector.
• Achieve sales performance targets and increase wallet share through cross‑selling the full suite of Absa products.
• Provide technical cash‑management support, resolve client queries and recommend practical solutions independently.
• Plan and execute sales calls, prepare call reports and track opportunities.
• Manage pricing of cash products in collaboration with the Head of Transactional Banking.
• Coordinate wholesale liquidity mobilisation and management with Treasury.
• Drive product innovation and develop new cash‑management offerings to meet corporate demand.

Required profile

• Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts in a corporate banking environment.
• Strong analytical mindset to solve technical cash‑management queries and propose solutions.
• Experience in pricing, liquidity management and product development for cash‑management services.
• Capacity to work autonomously, plan sales activities and maintain accurate reporting.
