Senior Marketing Specialist – FinTech Events & Collateral

About the role

Palmpay is a fast‑growing Pan‑African fintech looking for a proactive Senior Marketing Specialist to own the planning and execution of marketing events and the creation of high‑quality collateral. The role sits at the intersection of strategy and hands‑on delivery, ensuring brand consistency across all channels while navigating the regulatory landscape of financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute in‑person and virtual events such as fintech conferences, roadshows, webinars, product launches and partner gatherings.
• Manage end‑to‑end event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, branding, attendee management and post‑event follow‑up.
• Develop pre‑, during‑ and post‑event marketing campaigns (email, social media, PR) and track KPIs like lead generation, brand engagement, ROI and conversion.
• Create and maintain marketing and sales assets – brochures, decks, one‑pagers, infographics, whitepapers, banners and video content – in collaboration with design and content teams.
• Oversee print and digital production timelines, vendor relationships and maintain an organized asset repository.
• Collaborate with product, sales, legal, compliance and executive teams to align messaging with regulatory requirements and adapt materials for regional markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of marketing experience with a focus on event planning and collateral creation.
• Previous experience in fintech, financial services or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines and translate financial concepts into clear, engaging language.
