About the role
The Senior Associate, Programs will own small‑to‑medium workstreams within the Deworm the World Initiative in Tanzania. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will translate government and organisational priorities into concrete plans for mass drug administration, coverage evaluation surveys, supply‑chain management, reporting and capacity building.
Key responsibilities
- Lead implementation workstreams for Mass Drug Administration (MDA) and Coverage Evaluation Surveys (CES).
- Develop and execute detailed plans for supply‑chain logistics and reporting mechanisms.
- Provide technical assistance to the Tanzanian Ministry of Health and PMO‑RALG.
- Support capacity‑building activities for local partners and government staff.
- Monitor progress, collect data and ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Collaborate with senior staff to refine strategies and address emerging challenges.
Required profile
- Experience in program management within public‑health or NGO settings.
- Familiarity with neglected tropical disease interventions, especially deworming programs.
- Ability to work effectively with government partners and multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, planning and communication skills.
- Capacity to operate under senior guidance while taking ownership of deliverables.
