Sales & Partnership Manager

About the role

The Sales & Partnership Manager will lead merchant acquisition, drive transaction volume growth and build strategic partnerships across key sectors such as gaming, hospitality, e‑commerce and utilities. You will own the full commercial pipeline from lead generation to merchant activation and long‑term relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pitch and onboard merchants in priority business sectors.
• Build and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through onboarding and first live transaction.
• Negotiate merchant agreements, pricing structures, settlement terms and commercial service agreements.
• Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure complete KYC/KYB documentation before onboarding.
• Educate merchants on transaction monitoring, AML/CFT obligations and acceptable use policies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with mobile network operators, aggregators, institutional partners and key commercial stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly pipeline reports, performance updates and transaction volume projections for management.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and regulatory developments.
• Support growth of future sales and merchant success teams and ensure strong merchant retention.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, merchant acquisition or business development.
• Experience in fintech, digital payments, mobile money or gaming sectors is preferred.
• Prior work with payment aggregators or payment platforms is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management and commercial acumen.
• Self‑driven with the ability to build and manage pipelines independently.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
