About the role

Atlas Copco is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sustainable growth of its Industrial Air Technique (IAT) and OFA business in Tanzania. You will act as a trusted technical consultant, designing compressed‑air solutions that improve energy efficiency and reliability for industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Consultatively design compressed‑air systems tailored to each customer’s industrial needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, re‑engage drifted accounts, and manage the full quote‑to‑order cycle.
  • Maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts, serving as the brand’s primary contact.
  • Lead technical sales activities at exhibitions, product demos, and on‑site surveys.
  • Own the complete sales lifecycle, from initial contact through contract approval and purchase order.
  • Provide post‑sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and deliver market insights and lost‑order analysis.

Required profile

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience with high‑quality industrial equipment, preferably air compressors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Valid driver’s license.
