About the role
Park Hyatt Zanzibar is seeking an experienced Rooms Division Manager to lead the Front Office, Housekeeping and Guest Services teams. The role ensures seamless operations and delivers the high‑end guest experience expected of a luxury Hyatt property in the historic heart of Stone Town.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Front Office, Housekeeping and Guest Services departments.
- Maintain service standards, guest satisfaction scores and compliance with Hyatt brand guidelines.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor financial performance and control costs.
- Implement and optimise hotel systems, including Opera, PMS and POS, to enhance efficiency.
- Lead, coach and evaluate staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with other hotel functions to ensure smooth guest journeys from check‑in to check‑out.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in Rooms Division within a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong financial acumen with proven budget management abilities.
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Opera, PMS and POS hotel systems.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
