Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems across our manufacturing operations. This role ensures that raw materials, in‑process items and finished products meet stringent quality, safety and regulatory standards while supporting customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enhance Quality Assurance systems aligned with company policies.
• Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in‑process and finished products.
• Design and maintain SOPs, process flow charts and quality documentation.
• Manage product trials with Production to verify customer specifications.
• Handle customer complaints, lead root‑cause analysis and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards and food‑safety requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits.
• Oversee raw‑material quality assessment and approval.
• Drive Kaizen and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide training on quality systems, hygiene and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably plastics.
• Proven experience in quality inspection, auditing, testing and CAPA systems.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, Kaizen and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Injection moulding experience is an advantage.
