Product Operation Executive

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Product Operation Executive to ensure the effective performance of internal divisions related to M-Pesa products and services. You will support upgrades, configuration changes, and incident management while delivering accurate operational reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT, Vodafone, and M-Pesa teams to support system upgrades, configuration changes, change requests and incident resolution.
• Execute M-Pesa product operations, including third‑party reconciliation and preparation of operational reports for finance, sales, distribution and customer service.
• Design M-Pesa product solutions based on business requirements and oversee their implementation.
• Support the Legal and Regulatory division by implementing AML and compliance controls, data clean‑up and reconciliations.
• Manage sales activation processes for distribution and business customers on M-Pesa platforms.
• Monitor service‑level agreements (SLAs) for issue resolution in line with internal procedures and regulator guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry or functional experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess system issues and resolve them quickly.
• Meticulous attention to product design and configuration.
• Impeccable ethical standards and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
• IT background with proven stakeholder management abilities.
• Effective troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Project knowledge and experience are advantageous.
