About the role

In this position you will lead the overall strategic direction and business plan for operations in Tanzania, shaping a clear vision and long‑term objectives while representing the company to external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, monitor and evaluate operational performance to increase profitability, productivity and market share.
• Develop and obtain approval for the annual business, operating plans and budgets aligned with corporate strategy.
• Drive a KPI‑focused culture, standardise processes and control costs.
• Provide regular financial, quality and operational reporting and oversee special projects.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Lead, coach and develop a cross‑functional team to improve organisational effectiveness.
• Maintain relationships with senior industry stakeholders, government regulators, airport authorities and local communities.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring safety, security, cost control and high customer‑service standards.
• Identify cross‑selling and M&A opportunities to expand the business.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior leadership of large‑scale operations, preferably in aviation or logistics.
• Strong track record in strategic planning, budgeting and financial performance management.
• Ability to build and motivate high‑performing teams and foster a safety‑first culture.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience dealing with regulators, partners and community groups.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on cost efficiency and market growth.
