Logistics Officer

About the role

Action Against Hunger USA is seeking a Logistics Officer to provide comprehensive logistics support for its field programmes. The role covers procurement, fleet and transport, asset and inventory, warehouse management and office facilities, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, donor rules and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process procurement requests in line with organisational and donor procedures, maintaining supplier records and supporting framework agreements.
• Manage vehicle movement planning, tracking, logbooks, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules and coordinate servicing and repairs.
• Ensure all assets are tagged, recorded in the asset register, conduct physical verifications, track equipment movements and coordinate disposal of damaged or obsolete items.
• Supervise receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, maintain accurate stock records and uphold warehouse safety, cleanliness and security standards.
• Support office maintenance, utilities, repairs and ensure availability of office supplies by liaising with service providers.
• Maintain all logistics documentation, prepare and submit monthly logistics reports.
