About the role
Naru Zanzibar is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR activities across its fast‑growing travel and hospitality operations in Zanzibar. The role focuses on building strong teams, ensuring smooth onboarding, and maintaining effective HR processes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead recruitment and hiring processes across all departments.
- Manage onboarding for new team members, ensuring a seamless entry experience.
- Support employee relations and day‑to‑day HR operations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedural documentation.
- Coordinate contracts, staff records, and other essential documentation.
- Assist with performance management and promote team accountability.
Required profile
- Minimum of 4 years of HR experience.
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, travel, or related service industries is preferred.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Based in Zanzibar or willing to relocate.
Required skills
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration.
