Field Technician

About the role

The Field Technician will ensure that all technical services across the region are monitored and maintained to deliver high‑quality telecom services to Netis customers. Working under the guidance of a Team Leader or Regional Manager, you will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, power quality management, and on‑site support for domestic customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform timely preventive and corrective maintenance to meet network availability, MTTR and MTBF KPIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve power‑related faults (generator, grid, hybrid solutions) and implement corrective actions.
• Support field tasks such as surveys, installations, maintenance, and cell‑site activities for domestic customers.
• Execute major network changes through the approved change‑management process.
• Audit network power capacity to support future expansions.
• Manage maintenance parts, ensure proper waste disposal, and compile fuel‑consumption data.
• Prepare weekly reports on generator fuel usage and submit them to management.
• Promote a safe working environment, conduct risk assessments, enforce protective equipment, and report hazards, incidents, or near‑misses.
