Direct Sales Agent

About the role

PalmPay Tanzania is looking for a motivated Direct Sales Agent to drive customer acquisition and promote our mobile payment and financing solutions. You will work on the ground, engaging merchants and individual customers to expand our fintech footprint across Tanzania.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell smartphones and other mobile devices using financing plans.
• Approach and engage potential customers in retail outlets, events, and field locations.
• Explain financing options, eligibility criteria, and assist customers with applications.
• Conduct product demonstrations, answer queries, and handle objections.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Provide after‑sales support and encourage repeat business.

Required profile

• Strong communication and persuasive selling abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on building relationships.
• Basic understanding of consumer financing and credit processes.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage a field‑based schedule.
• Confidence in product demonstrations and handling objections.
