Country Manager

About the role

The Country Manager will lead GoodWe’s sales activities in Tanzania, combining on‑site presence with remote work and frequent travel. This role focuses on expanding the market for solar PV inverters, batteries and related energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales efforts in Tanzania, identifying and acquiring new customers while maintaining long‑term relationships with distributors, EPC contractors, developers and wholesalers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and collaborate with clients to develop business and product strategies for growth.
• Coordinate technical activities for customer projects, applying deep product and system knowledge to deliver effective solutions.
• Analyse solar PV market trends, competitor actions and customer feedback to shape responsive strategies and identify expansion opportunities.
• Represent GoodWe at industry events, conferences and exhibitions to boost brand visibility and build new partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement within the sales organisation, implement channel policies and mediate partner conflicts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience selling solar PV products.
• Strong business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to thrive in volatile markets.
• Professional proficiency in English and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Team player with a proactive, results‑oriented attitude.
