Tendering & Price Sourcing Officer

About the role

Innovo is seeking a sharp, hardworking, and detail‑oriented Tendering & Price Sourcing Officer to support the identification of tender opportunities, source competitive prices locally and internationally, and prepare complete bidding documents.

Key responsibilities

• Collect accurate and competitive prices from local markets (Kariakoo, Dar es Salaam) and overseas suppliers via email, WhatsApp, Alibaba, Global Sources, and manufacturer websites.
• Request formal quotations, product specifications, brochures, delivery timelines, and payment terms; compare offers and produce price analyses for management.
• Negotiate prices and terms to ensure competitive bids.
• Prepare professional tender submissions, including bid forms, price schedules, compliance sheets, technical responses, and administrative documents.
• Verify supplier credibility, product specifications, certifications, and warranty terms before recommendation.
• Maintain a database of reliable local and international suppliers and keep records of quotations and communications.

Required profile

• Excellent analytical skills for price comparison and market research.

• Ability to read and interpret tender documents, eligibility criteria, and technical specifications.
